Welcome To The HyperMac Mentors Page

HyperMac Mentors

The HyperMac Mentors belong to a dedicated and knowledgeable group of
Macintosh users who have graciously volunteered their time to assist
newcomers to the Internet who are experiencing difficulties with their
computers or their navigation through cyberspace. If you are using a
Macintosh computer and are finding yourself fumbling around, unclear
about what you are doing or what you can do, you are definitely not
alone. There are currently over 60,000,000 users of the Internet, a
number which is increasing by fifteen percent each year. Often, new
users find that the most difficult aspect of acclimatizing to Internet
living is finding a suitable and patient avenue of assistance. This
group of devotees was assembled in response to that need. Hopefully, a
productive relationship with one of the HyperMac Mentors will prove valuable
to you and enable you to get the most out of what can be a very enjoyable
experience.

So, exactly how does the system work? Very simply. Scan the current
list of HyperMac Mentors for one who seems likely to be able to assist you
with your difficulties. I have included, where possible, a brief
description (often written by the Mentor her/himself (quoted)) of each
person's primary interests to speed up the selection process. Simply
follow the link corresponding to your chosen mentor's name, write your
e-mail message and wait patiently for an answer; they will get back to you as soon as possible.
Do not be shy about asking for help. We are more than glad to
help you out as best as we can; perhaps some day you will feel
confident enough to send in your name to be added to the HyperMac
Mentor List.
